Kambi-Volika-Livada-Niatos-Sfakia-Anopolis-Agia Roumeli-Paleohora

Photos from a big track over mountains starting in the village of Kámbi at the end of May and ending (after 17 days) in the small town paleohora on the southern coast at June. There were remains of snow on the mountains with quite cold nights but temperature on the southern shore was nice and friendly and even the sea was "usable". Note: if there is a reference to the name ,Kástro' it should be kept in mind that Kástro itself is only one (southern) summit of the whole massif. The second summit (northern) of this massif is Mt. Fanari. This is also resulting in fact than I hiked down on the Niátos Plain not on slopes of Kástro but on Fanari slopes.
