2012

Photos of my this-year (2012) flower's harvest. In comparison with previous year, when I was in Levka Ori in the almost same time, this year flowers were "strange". While in higher altitudes there were often huge remains of snow fields and flowers were just at the beginning of their blooming, below the plant cover was burnt already due to early arrival of spring. My the most valuable capture from this year is an unusual orchid - Himantoglosum samariense (I don't know its English name) and also deluges of crocuses and scillas growing in water running from thawing snow fields (especially on the Katsiveli plateau) were something with which I had never met by than. There was so many flowers I coudln't  stand anywhere to avoid flower damage.
